Laing & Buisson's Innovation award recognises and rewards a significant and cutting-edge advance in independent healthcare provision. The work can be in any category - medical, financial, nursing or organisational.
Dr Foster Intelligence pioneered the provision of information to hospital managers and the public in a way that improves healthcare standards and outcomes. The method of that information provision is through Dr Foster Intelligence's ground-breaking web-based analysis tools. The first tool created was Real Time Monitoring (RTM).
The RTM tool features alerts to variations in performances, peer and national benchmarking and various methods of data analysis that allow organisations to monitor clinical safety, efficiency and overall healthcare results.
As one of three finalists for the award, a number of Dr Foster Intelligence representatives attended the ceremony on Wednesday, 12 September. Chairman of the Management Board, Tim Kelsey, accepted the award.
