Strategy Consultancy:
- Steve spent the first portion of his career working for a Strategy consulting firm. In this time he gained a broad experience of helping clients across a wide range of industries and geographies to successfully develop and achieve their strategic goals
- Specifically he worked with clients to identify and utilise relevant datasets, conduct primary market research and develop strategies for moving into new markets
Independent Sector Treatment Centre provider
- Steve spent two years working for an ISTC provider. Here he gained extensive experience in the NHS marketplace
- In particular Steve spent large portions of time successfully bidding on large scale DH tenders, using data driven marketing techniques to generate additional referrals into the centres and project managing new business developments
Healthcare Consultancy:
In his time at Dr Foster Steve has worked on numerous client facing projects. Examples of these projects are:
- KPI Collection and Reporting: Steve is project manager of a major project involving the collection of KPI information from healthcare facilities and the timely processing and reporting of this information
- Commercial Due Diligence: Steve acted as an advisor on behalf of Dr Foster on a major healthcare transaction involving independent sector hospitals. Steve’s role was to advise the purchaser on elements relating to NHS policy, market size and growth, and revenue modelling
- ISTC Referral Generation: Steve advised the DH and an ISTC Provider on strategies to generate additional referrals in Elective Surgery. This involved comprehensive analysis of the market position and competitive landscape for the ISTC and the development of a tactical marketing plan
