Richard's career in healthcare communications started in 2000 when he moved to the Department of Health press office, after several years of journalism. His next move was to Brighton and Hove City Teaching PCT where he served as their Head of Communications.

Richard joined Dr Foster in June 2005 as the NHS Media Marketing Manager and is now Marketing Services Manager. He works with a wide range of clients to help them develop integrated communications programmes and targeted healthcare campaigns, and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Direct Marketing. He currently lives in Herefordshire with his partner and two daughters.
