North West, a second regional event following the West Midlands on a series of Creating a transparent NHS - using information intelligently seminars brought together key stakeholders from the region and local providers. The event offered the delegates a platform to an open and frank discussion on how best to use Dr Foster Intelligence information tools to measure the quality of care and to address some of the questions that have been raised on the use of mortality indicators.
With a combination of well renowned academics and NHS speakers, the open discussions following the presentations provoked a lively debate focusing on issues such as the Hospital Guide publication and mortality indicators.
