The Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has been building on the momentum created by its successful year of work on patient experience. The Trust's project culminated with the winning of the BT e-Health Insider award for Excellence in Healthcare Information Management.
Working closely with Dr Foster Intelligence, the Homerton decided to run A Practical Approach to Patient Experience to bring together nursing and other frontline teams involved in patient experience to give them a chance to share best practice and network with peers.
The successful event covered topics ranging from the Homerton's patient experience project based on Dr Foster Intelligence's Patient Experience Tracker (PET) tool, the Healthcare Commission's Dr Lesley Rogers' work on standards and the Department of Health's Mary Simpson's strategic overview.
Well-attended by over 100 delegates from around the country, we were again pleased to receive 100 per cent positive delegate feedback.
