Head of Marketing Services
Job summary
Dr Foster Services is the leading provider of social marketing within the NHS. This is a pivotal role leading the account management team delivering this work. The role of Head of Marketing Services is to shape the work of the Marketing Services team to deliver high quality outputs and achieve successful responses to campaign activity.
Key Duties and Main Responsibilities
To create a high quality Marketing Services function within Dr Foster Services, including:
- Delivering marketing campaigns to bring about behavioural change
- Delivering strategic marketing recommendations and intervention planning
- Managing and developing the marketing services team
- Ensuring accurate budgeting and cost management
- Supporting the sales process by acting as a subject matter expert (but not chasing leads)
- Ensuring high quality of delivery within client agreed time parameters
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
Essential
- Time management to ensure a variety of engagements are delivered to time and budget parameters
- Confident and professional customer and internal communication – both verbally and written. Ability to work with customers at all levels within the NHS
- Used to running and organising teams
- Able to develop robust resource and cost plans as part of project / proposal development
- Good organisational skills
- Client facing role so good oral, written, relationship and sales skills are essential
Desired
- Good understanding of NHS structure, roles and clinical processes and the key issues shaping NHS strategy and development

Internally
All teams within Dr Foster Services - Research Services, Creative Services, Analytical Services, Technical Services, Sales. Other Dr Foster departments such as the Finance
Externally
This is a client facing role with a large degree of client interaction. Supplier management is also likely to be required on a regular basis
