Tim co-founded Dr Foster in 2000 to provide authoritative, independent information about local health services. A well-respected journalist and broadcaster, Tim graduated in history from Cambridge University and has worked as news editor at the Sunday Times, as foreign correspondent for the Independent and has presented award-winning documentaries for both Channel 4, and the BBC.
Tom recently joined Dr Foster Intelligence from Emap where he was chief executive for four years. He worked across Emap for 25 years and oversaw a period of substantial growth as the company operated across consumer magazines, radio and B2B.
Ajay is a graduate accountant with over 15 years post qualification experience. He began his career with Ernst & Young and has since held a number of senior finance roles, including CFO W H Smith USA Retail; Director of Financial Control (Mainstream), First Choice plc; and Group Audit Director at Emap plc.
Roger co-founded Dr Foster in 2000 with Tim Kelsey. Prior to setting up Dr Foster, Roger was a correspondent for the Financial Times where he covered the healthcare industry before being posted to San Francisco to write about the Internet boom. Roger currently oversees a wide range of research projects into healthcare quality and social care services and is responsible for ensuring we are continuously innovating in our product and service design.
John joined Dr Foster from St. George’s Healthcare NHS Trust, where he was Head of IT for 18 months. Before that John was at Connecting for Health for two years having joined from the private sector. He was Head of IT at UniChem for three years and started his career at Bausch & Lomb, where he enjoyed an interesting variety of technology based roles over fifteen years.
Mark has been in healthcare sales and marketing for more than 20 years. He started within the pharmaceutical industry and has since worked with a variety of markets. Before joining Dr Foster Intelligence, Mark was the European Sales Director for an aesthetic medical company.
Sue has a background in Nursing, Nurse Management and General Management within the NHS, and has worked in both primary and secondary Care. She has an Honours degree in Health Care Management and a post graduate diploma in Health Economics. Sue worked across the private sector within BUPA policy and planning, Pfizer and Sanofi-Aventis as a field based health economist and account manager. Project/programme management, Change management and information management have featured strongly throughout her career.
Steve has been with Dr Foster for a couple of years focusing on the use of healthcare information to drive strategy and operations, the effective marketing of services and project management. Specifically he worked with clients to identify and utilise relevant datasets, conduct primary market research and develop strategies for moving into new markets. Steve spent the first part of his career working for a strategy consulting firm. In this time he gained a broad experience of helping clients across a wide range of industries and geographies to successfully develop and achieve their strategic goals.
Gary leads our project management and delivery teams and is responsible for the successful delivery of our client facing programmes. Gary has nine years experience in business transformation and IT. His experience ranges from IT strategy through to implementation and operational management and he specialises in business analysis, change and project management.
Diana has worked in HR roles for 20 years and spent the last 11 years with Cardinal Health in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices industry where she has had senior-level UK and international roles. Her roles have focussed on people development, company acquisition and integration and change management. Diana is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
